The day before yesterday I rode my dirt bike out to a missionaries house to look at his solar system. We’re in the rainy season now, and the river was running strong. I had to cross it at least 20 times each way, because the only place for a road, is at the bottom of a narrow valley. The truth is I’m not in very good shape, and dirt bike riding is a very physical activity, especially on that road!

barely passable
As I rode up and down dodging loose rocks in turns and trying to see what was under the water in front of me, I kept thinking, “I have to stay focused, or I’m really going to hurt myself, or go for a swim”. I have to say it’s a great analogy for the daily walk. Stay alert! (1Peter 5:8)
